To support youth through the provision of an Equine Assisted Program for the purpose of:

Partners in Process Equine Learning Centre is a Non-Profit organization established to provide children, youth and young adults at risk or who have become involved with the Youth Criminal Justice System, alternative ways of dealing with their issues;

Offering children, youth and young adults the tools to learn for themselves about trust and taking responsibility.

Mission Statement

To bring awareness of one’s self with the help of a professional team using the Equine Assisted Program. To provide a safe place that offers Children, Youth and Young Adults as well as Groups, the opportunity to move forward in life through interaction with the horse.

Members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Corporal Judith Falbo, Constable Pat Akin presented a cheque of $5000.00 to “Partners In Process Equine Learning Centre.”

Partners in Process is a dynamic innovative program using the power of horses to help at-risk children and youth make positive choices. With the help of their equine partners, young people learn to deal with issues such as substance abuse, grief and loss and low self-esteem.

Program Coordinator Melanie Gray says, “The RCMP’s long history of community involvement is a natural fit to support our life skills programs. We are so grateful for their involvement and encouragement.”

Enhanced Success for Youth

PIP Girls Melody AcresEquine Assisted Learning programs help youth deal with problems and provides skills to communicate, make good choices, take responsibility. Changes children/youth from being “on the edge, looking in” to active participants in own development and life choices.


Creates conditions for people to reach their full health and well-being potential. Participants are responsible for ‘their’ horse: riding, grooming, maintaining equipment, clean-up providing exercise and active environment. Builds confidence and self-worth contributing to optimum physical and mental health.
